inMy uncle swore by using ATF to free a stuck diesel injector
Wait, is this REALLY something that needs fixing with ATF? I mean, if your injector is that stuck, you're probably looking at a bigger problem than just carbon buildup. A 7.3 Powerstroke injector that's actually that frozen is likely toast anyway and ATF is just a bandaid. And honestly, I've seen more dry-stuck injectors from corrosion or mechanical damage than from carbon. You got lucky once, but that trick is more old wives tale than real fix in my experience.

inHad a week last fall where every single drawer I built came out perfectly square on the first try
Did you check the humidity that week?

inWhy I think 'Gone Girl' is overrated and no one wants to hear it
Is it really the book they're mad about or just the fact that you didn't like what they liked?

inRant: My trusty mechanical keyboard finally gave out after 12 years of service
Man that really hurts... twelve years is a long time to build muscle memory with a board. I had a similar thing happen with my old Filco, the A key just gave up one day and I tried the same switch swap trick but ended up with a half melted mess. Honestly the worst part is knowing every new board will feel wrong for months. Maybe check if the PCB traces are still good before you give up, sometimes it's just a broken solder joint on the controller that a local repair shop could fix for cheap.

inI chased a 50% off coupon for 2 hours, only to find out it expired yesterday
Honestly I used to think screenshotting was overkill but you got me rethinking that now. I always just bookmarked the email and called it good but then stuff gets buried or I forget which one had the code. Screenshot seems way smarter cause its right there in your photos and you can set a reminder on it too. Making a habit of that sounds like it would save so much hassle next time.
