My car registration expired for 7 weeks and I only found out at a traffic stop in Plano
The officer was nice about it but the look on his face when he saw the date said enough. I paid the $180 fee on my phone right there in the parking lot and set a calendar reminder for two weeks before it comes due next time. Does anyone else have a system that actually works for renewing stuff like this?

Oh man, I heard those renewal reminder apps send you a text like a month out and that seems way better than trusting my own brain. The $180 sting is real though, glad the officer cut you some slack.
