Tried an AI scheduling tool and it triple booked my entire weekend
I set up this new AI calendar assistant to manage my shifts and appointments. Thought it would save me time juggling night shifts and day errands. Instead, it synced wrong and booked me for three different things last Saturday morning. I had a dentist cleaning, a car oil change, and a coffee meetup all at 9:00 AM. Spent an hour on the phone fixing everything, then canned the tool. Has anyone found an AI scheduler that actually respects time blocks?

Look, I gotta push back on this one. I've been using an AI scheduler for three months now and it's honestly been a lifesaver for my chaotic schedule. You just gotta set it up with your actual constraints instead of letting it run wild with permissions. Mine learned my preferences after about a week and now it blocks off my recovery time after night shifts automatically, which is something I never remembered to do manually. Your problem sounds more like a settings issue than a fundamental flaw with AI scheduling tools (they're only as good as the rules you give them). Spend an afternoon really tweaking the parameters and you might be surprised at what they can handle.

Three months is barely enough time for the novelty to wear off, honestly. I'd be curious to see if you still feel this way after a year of using it. What happens when your schedule changes in a way the AI hasn't learned yet?
