I finally tried that frozen 'air fryer ready' chicken from the freezer aisle

Bought a 2 pound bag of Tyson Crispy Chicken Strips for $12.99 last week, thinking it would be a quick win. They came out soggy and the breading fell off, even after 15 minutes at 400 degrees like the bag said. Honestly, I could have made better ones from scratch in the same time and saved money. Has anyone else had luck with a different brand, or should I just skip the freezer stuff completely?

Ugh, that's the worst! I totally get what @ward.fiona means about kitchen letdowns because my air fryer is basically a fancy reheater. For frozen stuff, I've had okay luck with the store brand "pub style" nuggets, but you're right, the breading is never as good as homemade.
