Shoutout to the air fryer basket at my friend's Super Bowl party
Ngl, I used to think air fryers were just tiny ovens that take up counter space. But last Sunday at my buddy's place in Denver, he threw some frozen bratwurst in there for 12 minutes at 375. They came out crispy on the outside and juicy inside, way better than my grilled ones I ruined last summer. We all stood around the counter eating them straight from the basket. Has anyone else had a specific food change your mind about air fryers?

Oh man, I gotta disagree with you there. Air fryers are just glorified convection ovens that happen to be small and loud. I tried making frozen chicken strips in my friend's air fryer and they came out dry on the inside with this weird chewy texture. Honestly, people get so caught up in the hype but I think a regular oven or even a pan on the stove does a better job most of the time. The cleanup is a pain too, all that grease gets baked into the basket no matter what you do. And don't get me started on the noise, mine sounds like a jet engine taking off in my kitchen. I'd rather spend the money on a good cast iron skillet that'll last forever.
