Changed my mind about digital torque wrenches after a 737 flap job
I used to swear by my old analog torque wrench, figured digital was just extra cost and batteries to worry about. Then last month I was doing flap track bolts on a 737 and my partner handed me his digital one. The angle setting caught a bolt that was about to bind, something I would have missed by feel. It read the final torque correctly while my wrist said it was done, and that saved me a rework. Now I keep a backup digital in my box, anybody else switch over after a close call?
