Hangar door winter mod saved my hands last week
Started taping the rubber seals on our giant hangar door every November. Used to just let the wind blow through and stand there freezing for 20 minutes while we waited for it to close. Now with the tape it still takes 20 minutes but at least the gusts aren't slamming the panels. South Dakota gets brutal around December. My coworker laughed at me until he watched me do it twice in one morning. Has anyone else got a cheap seasonal trick for their hangar that the older guys think is nonsense?
