Ditched my volunteer position after the coordinator asked me to 'fix' a faulty smoke detector with tape
I was patching drywall at the community center in Wichita for 6 months before I realized the whole job was just covering up issues the city should've handled, and when I refused to tape a detector that was chirping, they called me lazy, so am I the jerk for walking out mid-shift?
