inRealized I was torquing my lug nuts completely wrong for 5 years
I mean I get that it's annoying but are you SURE that was actually causing your wobble? Like the star pattern is for even torque distribution yeah but going clockwise on a 4 or 5 lug wheel isn't going to make THAT much of a difference on a Civic. I've seen guys just send lugs on with an impact gun in a random order for years and their wheels never fell off. Half the shops out there probably don't even bother with a torque wrench on lugnuts. Maybe your wobble was just a tire balance issue or a slightly warped rotor. People act like lug nut order is rocket science but it's really not.

inWarning: coworking spaces in Bali are not what they seem
Roll up to Dojo in Canggu around 7am and tell me the wifi goes down. I've been there for six months straight and hit every deadline on time. The afternoon slump you're talking about happens at maybe two or three spots that are packed with travelers treating it like a vacation. You gotta pick the right location and time - the early morning crew is all business, no smoothie selfies in sight. Also, grab a local SIM card with a data plan for 50 bucks and you've got backup internet anywhere on the island.

inMy brother-in-law saw my half-built guitar in the garage and just asked 'what's the story with this thing?'
Buddy of mine built a birdhouse last summer. Just wanted to see if he could, no reason at all.

inA customer told me his old Nikon F3 was 'just a paperweight' now and it got under my skin
Totally feel you on this. I had a guy bring in an old Canon AE-1 last year that his grandfather had used for decades. He wanted me to just clear the junk out of his garage basically. I ended up spending a whole afternoon just getting the mirror to flip right again. The sound it made when it finally fired, that solid thunk, you just don't get that from a plastic DSLR. We're basically mechanics for memories at this point.

Stitch ripper and a deep breath, happens to the best of us.
