Serious question, quitting my gym after the owner called me out for using the squat rack wrong

He said 'youre gonna hurt yourself with that form' in front of like 15 people, and I just grabbed my bag and walked out, but now I'm wondering if I overreacted or if that was the right call after 8 months of paying $45 a month there, has anyone else bounced from a gym over a public callout like that?

Used to think walking out was dramatic, but reading this totally flipped my view. Getting called out in front of people is humiliating, and you pay them to help you, not embarrass you. A good gym would pull you aside quietly, so leaving over that disrespect makes complete sense to me now.
