Hit 200 panel installs and realized my crimp tool was the bottleneck
Crossed 200 panel installs yesterday and went back through my last 50 jobs, turns out I spent an extra 20 minutes per panel fighting an old crimper that worked fine on 22 gauge but choked on the heavier stuff, anyone else notice their tooling slowing them down way later than it should have?
Had the same thing happen with my old ratchet crimper, kept telling myself it was fine until I borrowed a friend's one for a weekend job. Swapped it out after that and never looked back, probably saved me an hour a day. Sometimes you just get used to fighting your tools without even noticing.
