Hey, that's a smart idea to take tips from fan forums. But one small thing, the really good episode debates I see online never use a strict timer. They let the conversation go where it needs to. The trick is a clear topic, not a clock. Our work meetings got better when we switched from a ten minute per topic limit to just listing what we had to cover and letting it breathe.

Timers stop conversations from going in circles when people have back to back meetings. Letting talks "breathe" sounds nice until your 3pm call gets hijacked by the 2pm topic running over. Some structure is just practical when the work day is packed.

You're seeing online debates that actually stay on topic? Must be nice. Every fan thread I've ever been in goes off the rails by page two, someone always brings up a shipping war from three seasons ago. Letting it breathe just means the loudest person talks for forty minutes.
