Just hit 500 completed anime on my list and it feels weird.

Started tracking them on MyAnimeList back in college, just for fun. Hit 400 maybe a year ago. The jump to 500 snuck up on me last week. It's not a flex, just a number that made me realize how much time has passed. Anyone else get a weird feeling when they see their own stats like that?

Honestly, I read a piece once about how these big round numbers can mess with your head. It's like you're fine at 499 but 500 suddenly feels like a whole different thing. Tbh it just makes you stop and think about all that time.

Tracking 500 shows is the opposite of weird, it's just basic record keeping. I keep a list of every movie I've seen since high school and it feels totally normal. Numbers like that help you remember what you've watched and when. Honestly, I'd feel lost without my own lists, they're just useful tools.
