Found a cheat code for dealing with my micromanaging boss

I started sending a 3-bullet end-of-day summary email last Tuesday and he's left me alone ever since. Has anyone else used over-communication to get a manager off their back?

Double down on this. Start sending a quick plan for the NEXT day too so he sees you're already ahead of him.

Funny you say that, last time I tried to pre-plan like that my boss thought I was trying to take his job and started CCing me on everything at 6am... now I just send it at 4pm and call it a "status update".
