inUpdate: I thought those magnetic parts trays were a gimmick until my buddy in Tucson swore by them.
My buddy in Denver still uses an old muffin tin for his nuts and bolts, and I give him endless grief for it. Those magnetic trays are a total game changer, especially when you're working on something with a hundred identical little screws. I went from one tray to having three different sizes in about a week because I kept needing more space. The only downside is when you pick one up wrong and send a cascade of metal parts across the floor. Have you looked at the ones with the little dividers yet?

inMy mentor told me to always run a full chkdsk /r before swapping a drive, and it just saved a client's data.
My old boss had a similar rule for tape backups.

inOur coffee grinder's motor gave out during the morning rush yesterday, so we had to hand-grind three pounds of beans with the backup manual mill.
Watched our main espresso machine give up its ghost right before a Saturday morning wedding rush. We had two little home machines we use for staff coffee, so we lined them up on the bar like a sad, slow firing squad. Took about twenty minutes per drink, and I'm pretty sure we killed the goodwill of everyone who ordered a latte.

inJust realized my lazy approach to hoistway cleaning caused bigger issues
Your elevator shaking issue is why I stopped skipping cleanings. I used to think it was just busy work, but now I know it prevents callbacks.

inRant: I gave up on trying to convince people in conspiracy debates and just listen now.
Waste less time arguing honestly, most conspiracies are just WEIRD hobbies people get too into. @blake_lewis has it right just letting folks talk until they hear how silly it sounds.
