Looked at my invoice total for the year and it was way more than I expected

I just added up all my invoices from January to now and the total hit $92k. I'm a one-man show, so that number kinda blew my mind. Part of me feels like I should be celebrating, but another part is stressed about taxes and if I can keep it up. Anyone else get a surprise number that made you feel two ways at once?

Yeah that's a wild number to see all at once. What kind of work are you doing that got you there? Like, are you booked solid with small jobs or landing a few big projects?

That "two ways at once" feeling is exactly it. When I saw my first big number, I opened a separate savings account just for taxes and put 30% of every single payment straight in there. It made tax time a non-issue. Seeing the total is a huge confidence boost, even with the stress.
