TIL at a Chick-fil-A drive-thru that my fast food job changed how I talk to people

I was at the Chick-fil-A on Main Street last Tuesday and accidentally told the cashier 'my pleasure' when she handed me my change. It hit me that I spent 3 years working fast food in high school and I still say weird stuff like that without thinking. Has anyone else caught themselves using old job phrases years after quitting?

Does it mess with your head when you hear other people say it too? I've got a buddy who still can't stop himself from asking "do you want ketchup with that?" whenever he hands anything to anyone.

That thing about the ketchup gets me. I worked at a pizza place way back and I still find myself asking people "extra cheese?" when I pass them stuff at cookouts. My wife called me out the other day when I handed her the remote and said "careful, hot pan around the corner" like she was walking through the kitchen during a rush. It's like the muscle memory just never really goes away even after all these years.
