A guy at the supply house said to quit guessing on sealed systems and use a scale
I was charging a fridge a few weeks back at a shop over in Mesa and my buddy Ray watched me top it off by pressure like I always do, then told me I was leaving it half a pound off every time. He said weigh the can and write the number down, so now I do that on every sealed system I touch and my callback rate on those jobs dropped a lot. Cost me 20 bucks for a decent digital scale and it has already saved me two return trips. Do you guys weigh in every charge or only on the small stuff?
