That week my 'ask anything' forum got flooded with spam bots
It was a Tuesday in March when the first wave hit, and within 48 hours we had over 300 fake posts about crypto schemes. The mod tools were completely overwhelmed, and real questions got buried. Has anyone else had to rebuild community trust after something like that?

My local library's event calendar got crypto-botted last month.

Our church had that happen with their sign-up sheet software a few years back.

Our library had the same issue, @wendyc53, and switching to a captcha on the event submission form finally stopped it.
