Just passed 10,000 oil changes and it hit me differently

I hit my 10,000th oil change last Thursday on a 2015 F-150. I counted back through my work logs and it took me about 12 years to get there. That number surprised me because when I started at this shop in 2012, I never thought I'd do that many. Has anyone else ever stopped and counted a random milestone like that?

That's just counting bolts, not really a milestone worth tracking.

Come on, tracking 10,000 of anything is still a milestone, doesn't matter what it is.

Kinda reminds me of when I realized I'd poured over 5,000 beers at my old bar gig just during Sunday football games. I started counting one season and did the math later. Didn't feel like much at the time but that number really puts things in perspective. Wonder what those 10,000 customers would think if they knew you'd seen their drain plugs that many times.
