Hit 500 squawks logged last Friday and realized something about my wire repair success
I started tracking every avionics fix in a cheap notebook back in January and just wrote down number 500 on Friday. The weird part is my repairs that lasted past 6 months jumped from around 70 percent to 91 percent once I started wiring in a 5 amp inline fuse on every LRU power lead, cheap insurance I picked up from an old timer in Tulsa. Anybody else keep a squawk log, and if so what number finally made you change how you do a repair?
