Sat down with my dad to talk about his will and it turned into 3 visits over 5 weeks
My dad is 74 and lives in Boise, and getting him to actually name an executor for his estate was like pulling teeth. The first talk went nowhere, the second one he kept changing the subject to his truck, and by the third sit-down at his kitchen table he finally wrote down my sister's name. It felt good but also sad, like we were both admitting he won't be here forever. Anyone else have a parent who dodges this stuff, and did a deadline or a health scare finally get them to do it?
