Shoutout to the sticky note trick for the money talk with my dad last Sunday
I wrote down the 3 things I needed to say on a sticky note before sitting down with him at his kitchen table, because I always freeze up and end up just nodding. Kept it short: I can't cover his $400 car repair and my own rent in the same month. Anyone else use notes or a script to get through talks like this?
