I was anchoring 6x6 posts with quick-set concrete in 18 inch holes and my retired contractor neighbor just said 'frost line laughs at shallow footings' while walking his dog. He showed me the lifted shed slab in his own yard from his first build and that was enough proof for me. Anyone else ever get schooled by a casual driveway conversation and had to rip out a weekend of work?
