A lumber yard guy called my saw horses a disaster and he was right

Was picking up cedar in Spokane last Thursday and the old timer loading my truck pointed at my sawhorses strapped to the rack. Said they'd fold before I finished the third cut. I built them in an afternoon with scrap 2x4s and drywall screws, no diagonal bracing. He was right, the legs wiggled so bad I had to re-cut every board square. Someone else ever skip bracing to save time and just live with the wobble, or did you bite the bullet and rebuild?
