People really don't care about common courtesy anymore lol. I've had it happen twice now, once at a Pilot in Ohio and once at a Love's in Virginia. The Pilot one was the worst because the guy actually parked and acted like I was crazy when I said he took my spot. Bro, I had my blinker on and was literally halfway into the space. Now I make sure I'm watching my mirrors right up until I'm completely stopped and the truck is in park before I even touch that receipt button. Some truckers act like every spot is a free-for-all and whoever gets there first wins, no matter how long you were waiting.

I mean, not to be that person but I think there's a difference between wiping it down with a damp cloth and actually getting moisture into the charging port or the speaker grilles. I've seen people literally dunk their phones in water or use like a soaking wet paper towel and then wonder why the screen starts acting weird. The port is usually the main thing that gets messed up if water gets in there. But yeah for a quick wipedown you're probably fine, just be careful around the bottom edge.

Meanwhile my grandpa's old Buck knife from the 70s still shaves hair because he actually took 5 minutes to run it across a stone. People act like sharpening is some kind of black magic when really it's just patience and not being an idiot.

Gotta respectfully push back on this one. I had a 10 hour delay on Amtrak between Orlando and Jacksonville a couple years back and the crew was giving us updates every 20-30 minutes about a trespasser on the tracks. Yeah it was hot and cramped but knowing what was going on made a huge difference. Sounds like your conductor just totally dropped the ball with communication. Is there maybe a way to file a complaint with the rail company about that specific trip?
