Turns out the '9 lives' thing is a myth, my cat used 2 in one Tuesday

I read this article from the ASPCA in Cleveland that says indoor cats average a 15 year lifespan, but mine somehow survived falling off the balcony, then got stuck in the dryer vent 4 hours later. That same Tuesday, my neighbor's cat got hit by a Prius and walked away fine. Do these statistics even count the stupid ones, or is my cat just built different?

Laughing so hard at the "built different" thing because honestly, my cat is the same way. She once fell off the top of the fridge, bounced off the counter, and landed right on her feet like nothing happened. But then she tried to jump onto a windowsill and missed completely, smacking her face into the wall. These dumb little creatures are either indestructible or complete disasters, there's no in between. Your neighbor's cat surviving a Prius just proves they have some hidden plot armor or something. Makes me wonder if the lifespan average is just for cats that don't do anything crazy.
