Hit batch number 100 without even planning it
I was just cleaning up my kitchen counter and noticed my notebook said 'batch 99' on the last entry. So I made a point to stop and take a photo when I pulled batch 100 out of the oven this morning. It was just a plain sourdough loaf, nothing fancy, but hitting that milestone felt pretty cool after two years of messing up flat bricks and burnt crusts. Anyone else track their batch numbers or am I just weird about counting things?

Ha! Batch 100 and you didn't even realize it until you saw the notebook. I think that's less weird and more like you're running a bakery in a parallel universe where you pay attention to the boring stuff. But hey, at least you remembered to take a photo before the kids or the dog got to it. Two years of burnt crusts and flat bricks sounds like a solid resume for a sourdough support group. At this rate, you'll hit 200 before you even notice you've accidentally started a business.

Bet your starter has been through more than most people's houseplants over those 100 loaves. That's a whole sourdough family album right there.
