Just realized my grandma's pie crust trick works every time, even after 40 years
She told me to freeze the butter and grate it into the flour, and after 6 failed batches at my shop in Portland last month, I tried it on a whim and now I can't go back, has anyone else had an old family tip that beat every fancy technique they tried?
