Appreciation post: that random teller who caught a wire transfer typo
Honestly, last Tuesday I was setting up a wire transfer from my small biz account at Chase to move 12k into our Fidelity brokerage for a quarterly payout. I typed the account number wrong by one digit and hit submit without double checking because I was in a rush. The teller called me 10 minutes later saying the name on the account didn't match and held it for verification. I drove back and fixed it, and the money landed the next day without any fees. Has anyone else had a bank employee save them from a costly mistake like that?

Id probably still be finding that mistake in my sleep three years later.

The "three years later" part hits home. What helped me was writing down exactly what I did wrong and the correct way in a notebook I kept in my desk. I also started doing a quick review of any mistake I made right after it happened, even if it stung. After a couple months of that, the same old error just stopped popping up in my head at 3am.
