Heard a guy at the coffee shop say his broker 'has the magic touch'
I was waiting for my drink and this guy at the next table was on speakerphone, loud and clear. He told his friend, 'My broker has the magic touch, he just feels the market.' It made me think about how we pick who handles our money. Do people really go with a person because they seem lucky or have a good vibe? I've always just looked at fees and past numbers. Has anyone else heard something that made you question how others choose?

Ngl, that's a wild way to pick someone. Fees and track records are boring, but they don't lie about your returns. A magic touch sounds like a good way to lose your rent money. Some people just want a story to tell more than they want solid advice.
