My bank charged me $35 to move my own money and that is when I called a broker

Went to my bank branch on Elm Street to roll over a small account and the teller said it would be $35 plus a $75 closing fee unless I kept $10,000 parked there. Called a broker down the road and they did the same transfer for nothing. Anyone else get nickel and dimed like this before they switched?
