inFound a 2004 Civic with 210k miles for $900, cleanest flip I've had
Eh, rust will kill a car way faster than wiring ever will, trust me.

inThe neck strip mistake that made a client laugh at me in Tulsa
Laugh RIGHT along with him because that’s honestly the best reaction you could hope for. I’d have paid to see your face when you realized what happened. Once I grabbed a towel that had been washed with a sticker still on it and slapped it on a client’s face, left a little paper square stuck to his cheek for a full five minutes before he pointed it out. You’re not alone in the “blaming the supplier” game, but man, that backwards strip is a whole new level of professional embarrassment.

inMissed my flight in Lisbon and the bus station saved my whole trip
The Oriente station might be my favorite spot in Lisbon now, honestly. I took that same FlixBus to Madrid once and the seats were way comfier than any plane seat I've had. Missed connections sometimes force us into the good stuff, you know?

inMy failed macaron batch at a neighbor's potluck split the whole group in two
The neighbor who brought those macarons probably started a civil war over a cookie that costs like $3 at a bakery anyway lol. Honestly, cracked shells just mean you get to taste the filling faster, which is a win in my book. But I get it, if you're gonna spend hours making fancy French cookies, you want them to look like the Pinterest photo, not a tiny pie crust disaster. My vote goes to flavor though, because I once ate a perfect looking cupcake that tasted like a sponge soaked in sadness, and I still remember that betrayal. Structure is just the outfit, taste is the personality, and nobody stays friends with someone just because they dress well.
