Counted 47 tape measures in my truck and shop last week, and I still grabbed a broken one
My wife asked me to clean out the truck bed last Saturday so I started tossing every tape I could find into a bucket. Kept pulling them out of door pockets, under seat cushions, behind the miter saw, even one in the cupholder that had been there since a job in Tacoma. When I dumped the bucket on the bench and counted, it came to 47, and about 20 of them were the free promo ones from lumber yards. The worst part is I spent 10 minutes cussing at a locked tape later that day, then realized I was holding a broken one the whole time, and there were 46 good ones sitting right behind me. How many do you guys have floating around before you finally do something about it?
