I finally found a way to split bills with my roommate without the awkward math
Last week I set up a shared checking account with my roommate using a simple app, and we each auto-transfer $300 in every Friday. Has anyone else tried this method, or do you still split everything through Venmo and deal with the headache?

Read somewhere that shared accounts can get messy if one person spends more than the other. How do you guys handle it when someone dips into the pot for something personal?
