My $114 "free" checking account adventure at a pop-up bank branch
Stopped into one of those temporary bank kiosks at a festival in Austin to grab a free t-shirt for signing up. Six weeks later, the monthly maintenance fee ate $114 before I noticed. Anyone else get burned by a promotional account they forgot to close?
