My bank froze my account for a $200 check deposit and it took 10 days to fix
Last week I deposited a check from a client for two hundred bucks, a normal thing I do every month. The next day, my whole account was locked, no warning, nothing. I called and they said it was a 'security flag' and the review would take 7 to 10 business days. I had bills set to auto pay that got declined. I finally got a supervisor on the phone yesterday who said the hold was a mistake, but my money was stuck for over a week. Has anyone else had a small check cause a huge freeze like this? What bank doesn't flag a check that size?

Oh man, I had this exact problem last month... my local credit union finally just took it after I went inside and talked to a teller. They said mobile deposit often kicks small checks back from older accounts... it's a fraud thing. I had to show my ID and endorse it right in front of them. Maybe try going in person if the app keeps saying no.
