The $45 "travel wallet" that sat unused for 18 months

Bought this RFID blocking travel wallet before a trip to Chicago, thought it would keep my cards and passport safe and organized. It was too bulky for my pockets and too thick for the hotel safe, so I ended up just using a rubber band and a ziploc the whole time. Anyone else buy those travel organizer gadgets that end up being worse than the simple stuff you already have?
