Vent: Just learned my bank charges $35 for a single photo deposit failure

Tried depositing a check through my phone app last night and it kept erroring out. Looked it up and apparently Chase hits you with a $35 fee if the image rejects more than once. Has anyone else gotten hit with this nonsense?

And they don't even tell you about that fee until it's too late. I had the same thing happen with Bank of America and ended up paying $70 before I noticed.

Can't believe they just hid that fee until it was too late. $70 is a ton of money to just let slide off your account like that. Honestly, that's a massive red flag for a bank.
