Watch out for those 'instant transfer' fees from your bank
I needed to move $500 to a friend fast for a shared trip cost and used my bank's instant transfer option. They charged me a $15 fee for it, which I didn't see clearly until the confirmation screen. It's basically a 3% charge just to move my own money a bit quicker. Has anyone else gotten hit with this, or know a bank that doesn't do it?

That's just the price of convenience, not a huge deal for a one-time thing.
