My clipper kept pulling on thick beards until I changed the blade angle
I had a regular client with a really dense beard, and my usual method was tugging no matter how slow I went. After the third time, I tried tilting my clipper so the blade was almost flat against his skin instead of the normal angle. It cut through like butter and he said it felt way better. Has anyone else tried adjusting their cutting angle for tough hair?

It's not just the angle, but the direction of your stroke too. Going with the grain on a first pass with that flat blade can make a huge difference before you go against it.

Ever notice how that idea of working with the grain first applies to so many stuff? Like sanding wood or even brushing tangled hair. You're right @alice_wilson73, that first gentle pass in the right direction sets everything up for a better finish without forcing it. It's a small step that gets overlooked a lot.
