PSA: found a $4 trick that stopped my clippers from snagging thick hair

For 3 years I kept fighting that drag on coarser hair and wasted money on new blades every month until my old boss at the shop in Dallas showed me to run a drop of clipper oil on the blade every 4 cuts instead of once a shift, and now it glides like butter so has anyone else tried oiling mid-cut or am I the last one to figure this out?
