The neckline shape I used to do vs. what I do now
Tbh I used to just follow the hairline all the way around, but about 6 months ago a client asked why it looked uneven from the back. Now I use a much straighter line across the nape and it looks way cleaner. Any other barbers switch up how they finish the back?

The straight line across the nape is a game changer, I started doing it about a year ago after seeing the same issue with uneven growth from the side. It really makes the whole cut look more polished, have you noticed any clients specifically ask for it now?

Do they usually ask for it by name, or do they just show you a picture and say they want that clean look? I'm curious if it's catching on with the younger crowd too or mostly the older guys who care about details.
