After waiting two months for a custom spoke set, I'm rethinking my supplier.
Their slow service makes me think twice about fancy parts.

I switched to a different wheel builder for my last custom wheel build. Found a smaller shop online that hand-builds to order, and they had my spokes cut and shipped in under a week (they use Sapim, which was fine for my needs). The wait for niche parts can be brutal sometimes.

Man, two months for spokes? That's brutal. I'd be rethinking my supplier too. Sometimes the wait just isn't worth the fancy parts.

Seriously, that wait is crazy. I read a forum post last week where a guy waited three months for some special titanium spokes, only to have his whole build put on hold. At a certain point, you just need your bike back on the road, right? It makes you wonder if the extra performance is even real or just hype. Sometimes reliable and available beats perfect and never-shows-up.
