inAppreciation post: I tried to fact-check a 'viral' story about a local building project and hit a wall
Honestly, I've done that exact thing with a rumor about a new clinic. The trick is to look for the first person who posted it as a fact, not just shared it. Usually it's someone who just made a wild guess that sounded smart and then it spread. You'll drive yourself crazy trying to find a real source that doesn't exist.

inRant: I tried to learn Python by reading a 900 page book before writing a single line of code
Can confirm, I learned more from my broken first website than any tutorial lol.

inA client in Phoenix wanted a 4 foot chain link fence with posts set 10 feet apart to save money.
Honestly, "sag and wobble" sounds a bit dramatic for a simple fence.

inOur book club in Austin almost fell apart over 'The Silent Patient' last month
Honestly that book club sounds more intense than my last kitchen shift. Next time just bring a bottle of cheap wine and make everyone take a sip every time someone says "foreshadowing." Works better than any talking circle. Your note idea was smart though, forces people to actually think before yelling. Maybe add a rule where if you insult the twist you have to explain the whole plot backwards. That would shut people up fast.

inI was sketching in a coffee shop and heard two artists arguing about resolution.
The web graphics I made last week took me like four hours, so yeah it can be serious.
