I was sketching in a coffee shop and heard two artists arguing about resolution.
One of them said, 'If you're not working at 300 DPI for prints, you're just making web graphics.' It made me realize I'd been exporting everything at 150 DPI for years without really thinking about it. Has anyone else had a specific rule they followed blindly that turned out to be wrong for their work?
Ever notice how people say "just" before things they actually care about? Like "just a hobby" or "just a side project." Feels like they're downplaying their own work before someone else can.
