Just hit 500 brake bleeds and I was wrong about the syringe method

I always thought the cup and hose was fine for most jobs, but after a week of stubborn Shimano levers, I tried a proper syringe kit. The difference in lever feel on the first pull was huge. Anyone else switch methods after a certain number of jobs?

Just a fancy paperweight" - nah, I gotta push back on that a little. In my experience, it takes some practice but once you get the hang of it, it actually pulls solid vacuum and holds it pretty steady. Your mileage may vary though, some people swear by manual pumps and hate these.
