Had a seized bottom bracket cup on a customer's old Trek 820 that would not budge, even after a soak in PB Blaster and a cheater bar on the tool. Turned out the frame threads had a tiny burr at the 6 o'clock spot that kept grabbing the cup, so I ran a chasing tap through it and the thing spun right out in 30 seconds. Three hours of cursing for a 30 second fix. Anybody else got a frame prep trick for catching those burrs before you start wrenching?
