Rant: I used to think a 5mm hex was a 5mm hex until a stripped bolt on a customer's Trek
For years I just grabbed whatever cheap hex key was closest, but a stripped bolt on a customer's Trek Emonda last month changed that. The tolerances on some of the cheaper sets are just off enough to round out soft aluminum, especially on stem bolts. Now I only use my Wera hex-plus set for anything critical, and I check new sets with a caliper. Anyone else have a go-to brand for hex keys that actually fits?

Honestly that sounds like user error, not the tool's fault.

Agree completely, tools only work as well as the person using them. I've seen folks blame software for problems that a quick tutorial would fix. Learning the basics first saves a lot of frustration.

I read a tech blog post last week that said 60% of software support calls are about features covered in the first three help articles. People just don't want to read the instructions first, do they?
