Showerthought: Had a week where I binged 3 shows back to back and 2 of them crashed hard in season 2

Started with The Night Manager which stayed solid all 6 episodes, then jumped into Dark which was amazing for season 1 but lost me halfway through season 2, and finished with The OA which I still can't decide if the ending was brilliant or a mess so what shows have you stuck with through rough seasons and which ones did you drop cold?

The OA's S2 ending had me scratching my head for days too, still not sure if I loved it or hated it. Dark's S2 is where it got real confusing with all the time loops, how far did you actually get before you dropped it? Did you ever try to finish either one later or just let them die cold.

Man, I totally get that OA ending. I honestly think I'm still mad about it, but I also kind of respect how weird it was. @baker.riley I pushed through Dark season 2 and actually finished it, but man it was a slog. I remember pausing episodes just to figure out who was who and what year we were in. It felt like doing homework, you know? I did finish the whole show and the payoff was decent, but I don't think I'd ever watch it again. The OA though, I just let it die cold. That ending was a wild left turn and honestly I'm not sure what they were going for. Both shows tried too hard to be deep and ended up just being confusing. Sometimes a show doesn't need to mess with time and dimensions to be good.
